  • Noko Kgaogelo Malatji spent over five years learning how banks work from the inside before she ever set foot in a forensic investigation.

    That grounding in Nedbank's retail and credit operations turned out to be invaluable. Today, as a Forensic Pro-active Investigator within Nedbank's Financial Crime and Forensic Services division, she draws on years of banking experience and a Higher Certificate in Computer Forensics from Richfield to investigate fraud, financial misconduct and control weaknesses at a level few people ever reach.

    She now holds both CISA and CFE designations, credentials that sit at the top of the risk and forensics profession.

  • Tuscan Roxanne Basier has spent close to a decade building software for one of South Africa's largest banks, and along the way, she's made a point of bringing other women in engineering with her.

    She started as a Java Developer at Standard Bank Group, moved through quality assurance and automation engineering, and now works as a Software Engineer within Standard Bank's Corporate and Investment Banking division, building the systems that support serious financial infrastructure. Alongside her technical certifications, including ISTQB and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Richfield, pairing formal computer science theory with the kind of applied engineering skill that banks depend on.

    She describes herself as a Women in Leadership advocate, and it shows. For Tuscan, a strong technical education was never just about the code. It was about building a career sturdy enough to lift others up too.

  • Nosipho Masikane completed Bachelor of Science Honours in Information Technology after an earlier degree in Business Systems.   • Laeeka Adam graduated from Richfield with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, earning her degree cum laude, and is currently completing her BSc Honours in Information Technology. She works as a Junior Data Scientist at Consumer Profile Bureau, where she develops business intelligence dashboards, writes SQL queries, builds Python automations and supports data-driven solutions that improve business performance.

    Laeeka's journey is a testament to the opportunities that come from embracing every stage of the student experience. While studying, she served as a Student Brand Ambassador before progressing to Student Advisor and later Campus Administrator at Richfield, gaining valuable leadership, communication and operational experience along the way.

  • Tefedi Maduna is a Senior Field Service Engineer and proud Richfield BSc Information Technology alumnus. After three years of balancing full-time work with distance learning, his completion of the degree is a testament to his resilience and determination to grow beyond the boundaries of his existing expertise.

    With over a decade of experience in Clinical Engineering, Tefedi has built a career maintaining and repairing life-critical medical equipment across South Africa and neighbouring countries. His work at ZEISS Medical Technology demands precision, independence, and the ability to perform under pressure in complex clinical environments. The addition of a formal IT qualification has expanded his skill set into software development, equipping him to engage with the increasingly digital landscape of modern medical technology.

  • Thembeka Snethemba Jiyane is a technical strategist who enriched her professional profile through a Richfield BSc IT (Hons) degree. Now a Data Modeller at Nedbank, she transforms complex information into the clear insights that drive corporate strategy and growth.

    Her technical expertise has gained international recognition, including a speaking engagement at the Data Modelling Zone in Arizona and being named a finalist for Young Data Professional of the Year in 2025.
