  • Tsholofelo Tjempe graduated from Richfield with a BSc in Information Technology, doing so with distinction, and she brought to her studies a perspective that few in the field share. With a parallel background in Biotechnology, Tsholofelo understands intuitively that the most durable solutions emerge where disciplines meet, and she has spent her career proving it.

As a Quality Assurance Intern at Tiger Brands, she applied data analysis, laboratory rigour, and process thinking to compliance, inventory management, and operational improvement. As a Fellow of Black Women in Science and a former Youth Ambassador for Girls in Tech, she extends that same commitment to creating space for women to enter, thrive, and lead in STEM fields across South Africa.

Richfield recognised and developed in Tsholofelo the ability to think across boundaries: between science and technology, between data and people, between individual achievement and collective progress.
