Research Conference 2020
Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology (RGIT) and AAA School of Advertising invite you to participate in the research conference which is scheduled to take place as follows:

Theme: New Thinking & New Knowledge in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution
The conference aims to bring together leading scholars, scientists, educators and practitioners in multi-disciplinary domains to exchange and share ideas, research experiences and solutions to address various challenges engendered by digital disruption.
The conference provides the premier interdisciplinary forum to put a spotlight on the recent innovations and trends that are setting new norms in different fields of scholarship.
Authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts. Topics and sub-themes are listed on:

Early Bird Registration opens on 11th February 2020 until 17th February 2020 at a fee of R800
Regular Registration opens on 18th February 2020 at a fee of R1000

Submissions should include:
- Title of the extended abstract
- Name(s) of author(s), institution(s) and email address(es) – Italics and center
- Extended abstract of not more than 300 words, covering: purpose of the paper, literature review, methodology, results, conclusions, recommendations/implications.
- Three to five keywords
- Extended abstract references must adhere to APA Referencing style
- Font style Arial, font size 12

Faculty of Postgraduate Studies hosts guests from Georgia State University
Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology (RGIT), Faculty of Postgraduate Studies hosted guest lecturers from Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA on 13th September 2019. The guest lecturers, Dr Susan Ogletree and Dr Gwendolyn Benson are renowned scholars and experts in Research, Community Engagement and Leadership. The lecture was attended by RGIT’s postgraduate students of Postgraduate Diploma in Management and BSc Honours in Information Technology, as well as RGIT staff.
Dr Ogletree covered research methodology and shared her experiences and expertise in research and provided students with insight into contemporary research practices and methodologies. Dr Benson covered community engagement and leadership, and facilitated a practical session of group interactions and presentations around the core areas of leadership, as well as community engagement.
It was a truly fantastic experience for postgraduate students to be exposed to different points of view, and to enhance their learning experiences, as well as provide a global perspective to their curriculum.
